Asking a technical writer to describe themselves is a tough challenge since I spend all day describing other things :p. Both personally and professionally, I have a habit of living life on ‘hard mode’. Never shying away from challenges and jumping two feet into new technologies and ideas. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t but the growth that it has given me is priceless. It has allowed me to learn at a faster rate than if I were to ‘play it safe’ and meet so many great people along the way.

When you go on these ‘less paved’ paths, you really do need to develop a sense of humor and not take yourself too seriously. I am always thinking about the next joke in some of the most “serious” settings. If you let your ego get in the way of things because of how fragile it can be, you really are limiting your growth. Plus, everything is temporary here. Are we at 300 words? Probably not.
