Edouard Lavidalle

Born in Paris (Neuilly-sur-Seine), Edouard studied Economics and Business at Université Paris-Dauphine, ESCP Europe and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, which shaped his global mindset. After graduating with a double degree from ESCP Europe and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Edouard worked for several years in investment banking in London.

Being passionate about finance, technology and innovation, he was quickly caught by the Blockchain virus and started working on Blockchain projects in 2018. His initial interest in Blockchain was sparked by the possibility of building more efficient, censorship-free and borderless financial networks.

Edouard first started working on a crypto-finance startup called Trakx (https://trakx.io). Trakx is a regulated Digital Asset Service Provider (PSAN) in France that offers crypto-traded indices and is backed by investors like ConsenSys.

Later, in late 2018, he started working on Stakin (https://stakin.com), a non-custodial staking service for public Proof-of-Stake blockchains. The company operates a highly secure infrastructure for validating blocks on leading PoS networks. This enables delegators to earn rewards for their holdings and participate in decentralized governance. Staking services are offered on more than 25 networks, including Polygon, Cosmos, Icon, Solana, Near, Polkadot, Skale, Tezos, Terra Money, Regen, Mina and more. Through expert knowledge, a deep understanding of networks and ecosystems, and an innovative mindset, Stakin offers both institutional and retail investors a well-rounded cluster of Staking-as-a-Service solutions for decentralized networks. The services go beyond infrastructure as Stakin is able to provide dedicated customer support, technical guides, opportunity and risk education, and API services to track holdings and yield. As of November 2021, the company has more than 12,000 delegators and more than $1.2 billion in assets under delegation.

Edouard is now focusing on Stakin as the company looks to expand its services to institutional crypto investors. As a result, the company is currently hiring for various positions, from engineering to marketing, sales, and administration.
