Please tell us more about your background, how you got interested in Web3 and what you're currently working on?
My journey into the Web 3 space started in 2019, when I attended a conference organized by Blockchain Nigeria User Group. That conference actually opened my eyes on how blockchain as a technology is disrupting the way value is being transferred.
Currently I am working at Code 247 Foundation along with other experts in the tech space, our mission is to educate youths in Nigeria and Africa about Web 3, NFT and Metaverse etc.
Giving the Africa youths solid foundation, technical skills which are needed to enter into the blockchain space in a professional way.
You have been so bullish on Code247, What problem does your project solve? What is your vision for African developers?
Code 247 Foundation is on a mission to educate millions of youths across the Africa countries, giving the youths the technical skill needed to re-inventing the future of Africa through code.
I believe that Africa can be great, will be great and most be great. Africa developers are one of the best in the tech space, all that is needed to create an excellent platform like Code 247 Foundation that will re-activate the creativity in the minds of our youths across Africa.
What is your definition of web3? Why should we care about it?
In a very simple term Web 3 is the upgrade of Web 2. Web 3 enables the development of smart applications that can take advantage of machine learning and artificial intelligence capabilities.
Why should we care: Because it's the future no doubt, decentralized technologies are the future, these are technologies we should be investing our time, energy and resources trying to understand what the future will look like.
What is your favorite Web3 project? Among the people you've worked, or interacted with in Web3, who do you admire most and why?
I don’t have a favorite project, all the Web 3 projects are great. I admire everyone doing amazing things in this amazing space, people who are creative and innovative using blockchain technology to build something that is of great benefit to themselves and the world.
What is your vision for your niche?
All the developments in the blockchain space are awesome(DeFi, NFTs, and Metaverse), in the next few years we are going to see the rise of the real Decentralized Applications (DApps) that matter. Change is coming, let's shape it together.
What are the best decisions and the worst decisions you have made in this industry?
Best decision? Coming into the tech space, precisely the blockchain space. Not investing ontime into crypto space has results of fear or though this is not too late.

What hard and soft skills have been most helpful to help you succeed in Web3?
In this blockchain space hard and soft skills are very important skills to have. The ability for me to use developmental tools and communicate effectively have really been helpful to me in working in a team setting.
What would you say is the best thing about your job? The most challenging?
No doubt, the Web 3 space is full with a lot of opportunities and good things to talk about. Connecting with other experts across the globe is one thing I love about space. Challenge? That was when I got a project on ERC20 token development, but I was unable to meet up with the time.
Tell us the greatest working day of your life. You're at home in the evening, thinking of what you accomplished. What made you so happy that day?
That was May, 29 2021 seeing one or two youths connecting with us online from other parts of the Africa countries when we held our first Code 247 Foundation Summit, that motivated me to dedicated more time, energy and resource to first Code 247 Foundation, it was an awesome experience connecting with youths in India, South Africa and Ghana etc
What part should Developers play in web3?
Writing technical articles and sharing their experience as a blockchain developer will help to on-board more people into the blockchain space.
Any tips for beginners who aspire to work in this domain, but feel completely overwhelmed to even start competing?
I encourage anyone passionate about the this space to give his/her a career ahead start, first thing first invested in education to have clear understanding of the blockchain technology itself and it how it work, there are a lot of articles, videos, summit, conference which can be of great help for a start, after getting the basic one can sign up for advance online courses.
