What do you want to be growing up?
An artist.
How did you get interested in web3 and NFT?
I found the crypto NFT while in the pandemic through Clubhouse and it seemed like an incredible opportunity to share my work with people who I otherwise wouldn’t have a chance to meet in real life.
Could you explain the whole process behind the creation of one of your NFT? What steps do you go through?
First I make the piece with paint on paper. Then I scan the finished painting and put it in photoshop where I touch up and edit the image. I then assign a title and mint it on Open Sea.
“Proliferate a new concept of what money, wealth and richness is ; Decolonize the idea and expression of what philanthropy and generosity are” are your words. How do you link NFT to philanthropy, especially through the Spirit Coins project?
My Spirit Coin collection is the genesis of normalizing the artist as an everyday philanthropist. In the sense that attaching a cause/ charity that the NFT series supports creates a greater purpose and utility to the art in itself.
There is something extremely organic in your NFT creations. Is this a nod to a highly technological field?
It’s actually a conscious integration of the presence of tradition in this highly technological field. Bringing simplicity and the obvious presence of the hand that moves the brush.

What have the NFTs changed in your life? Whether it’s the professional world or your more intimate relationships.
Everything about NFTs has expanded my life in terms of the people that I work with and the way that I work. I’ve become wildly collaborative and it has elevated my consciousness, my social circle, and my work itself. The revenue stream it has created in my life has allowed me to support incredible causes that I’m very passionate about.
Tell us about the greatest creative day of your life. You’re at home in the evening, sitting on your couch and thinking about what you accomplished.
The greatest creative day of accomplishment was the day I finished creating the Eastern Alchemy collection on OpenSea which were forty physical paintings that were exhibited and sold in Beijing, China.
What inspires you to keep creating art now?
The joy it brings to my life and the ability it has to bring joy and positivity into people’s lives.
How can NFT support art?
NFTs are the future of the new artist economy.
What are your favorite artists and resources in this web3 universe?
My favorite artists are Postwook and Rebellica. Also, I really love what Twitter Spaces show host OhhShiny brings to the space. This positive consciousness and the ethos of inclusivity & integrity in our community.
What quote has actually stuck with you and changed your life?
Everything is possible - my father, Peter Buffett.
