Tell me something that’s true, that almost nobody agrees with you?
NFTs will be the biggest market in crypto.
How did you get interested in web3 and what you are currently working on?
In 2017 I learned about Bitcoin and crypto, but there was no tangible stuff to build yet. So around 2020, I started to look more into DEFI and in 2021 decided that I should contribute to the NFT space.
I’m currently working on a platform called Neftify that, through lending and borrowing systems, will allow anyone to own their guild or become part of another guild.
What problem does Neftify solve? What is your vision?
Like Uber allowed anyone to have a personal driver, Neftify will allow anyone to own a sports team, most specifically an esport team where guild members can share their assets while playing games that are p2e or any kind of game.
What soft & hard skills have been most helpful in helping you succeed in web3?
Discipline and being a good learner helped a lot. Everything is new so you have to be willing to put in the hours and do the work to learn new skills.
What’s the best thing about your job? The most challenging?
The best thing is that I get new challenges to solve every day. And not a lot of people are working in the NFT space right now so I have an opportunity to build some infrastructure and put my name behind something big.

What is your favorite web3 Project? Among the people you’ve worked/interacted with in web3, who do you admire most and why?
I would say Ethereum. Right now EVM is the underlying technology behind most L1 and L2, so everything is Ethereum.
Gary Vee, it takes a certain type of person to get to a new space. People doubt you, you stay there and build something successful and people still doubt you, but you are nice and keep building.
What is the question that has not been asked here that you would have enjoyed reading the answer to from one of your peers? Answer it.
Like I learned from Naval, what you want as an entrepreneur is to have leverage and specifically you want permissionless leverage meaning that you don’t have to ask anyone to give it to you.
There are different types of permissionless leverage but “code” is one with the biggest impact and is the base layer of billion-dollar companies. So to summarize you want to learn how to write code and you can build something from $0 to $Billions.
What quote has actually stuck with you and changed your life?
“Show me your friends, and I show you your future.”
What is your vision for your niche?
Everyone would want to own an esport team in the future. An innate human desire is to belong to a tribe and you can express that in the Metaverse through owning or joining an esport team.
NFTs technology will allow for the creation of new esport teams because now you will be able to own the assets of the game your team is involved in.
Any tips for beginners who aspire to work in this domain, but feel completely overwhelmed to even start competing?
If you want to be part of web3 and be in the trenches and know what’s going on you will have to learn to code. Specifically, learn Solidity and Javascript with a framework like ReactJs. From there you will be able to contribute and understand the projects that are being developed.
Also, you will have to put in a lot of effort and hours, the crypto world moves pretty quickly, expand your time horizon and never rush into any FOMO, always have your own opinion about things.
