Tell me something that’s true, that almost nobody agrees with you?
I believe that pfp NFTs, in the sense that they are in the mainstream now, are a bubble and many projects will fail. Most projects don’t provide utility and the space has become oversaturated.
How did you get interested in web3 and what you are currently working on?
I got interested in web3 about a year ago because I saw it as a good opportunity to break into a nascent and growing space. I am currently working with multiple clients on NFT projects, my personal project Elixir Sound Library, and a few smaller side projects.
What soft & hard skills have been most helpful in helping you succeed in web3?
Hard skills: Solidity, React
Soft skills: Being resourceful, caring about your clients, being accessible and presenting ideas clearly
What’s the best thing about your job? The most challenging?
Freelancing
Best: Being able to interact with clients. I really enjoy the validation when a client tells me that I have done a good job.
Most challenging: Budgeting my time. When working with clients, you are really on their time basis. If they are dragging their feet when providing you with assets or design ideas, then there is not much you can do.
Elixir
Best: The feeling that I am creating something out of nothing and there are no guidelines
Most challenging: The feeling that I am creating something out of nothing and there are no guidelines
What problem does your project solve? What is your vision?
Elixir Sound Library utilizes blockchain and public ledger technology to prove and track who is authorized to use a music sample.
What would you say is the most challenging aspect of managing a team in web3?
Being clear in your vision and making sure everyone is on the same page. Also leaving your ego at the door and not becoming too attached to ideas. You have to do what is best for the project and for the team.

What is your favorite web3 Project? Among the people you’ve worked/interacted with in web3, who do you admire most and why?
The web3 project I use the most is probably Uniswap for buying and depositing liquidity. I have worked or corresponded with a few members of Developer Dao. Dhawait, Narb, Orlundo Hubbard (I am definitely missing some). I admire all of them for their passion for the space, passion for helping others and their creativity.
Favorite web3 thinker on social media?
Probably Nader. Dhawait also has some good Tweets and does a lot for open source tech in web3.
What is your vision for your niche? What do you expect to come in the next few years? What developments in the field do you find to be the most exciting?
For the music NFT niche, I see it becoming a way for musicians to have alternate streams of income. Whether it is through Elixir or another platform, they will have more opportunities to earn much more than what they currently make through streaming services.
What quote has actually stuck with you and changed your life?
It’s not really a quote, but just the fact that you can do anything you want in this life and be whoever you want. You can wake up one day and say, “I am going to change this about myself”, and with enough dedication you can do it.
What is the question that has not been asked here that you would have enjoyed reading the answer to from one of your peers? Answer it.
What would you say are the 3 core tenets of Web3?
Community,
Ownership,
Opportunity
Any tips for beginners who aspire to work in this domain, but feel completely overwhelmed to even start competing?
I am a self taught programmer and have learned almost everything from tutorials and Youtube. I think the best first step for a beginner is to sit down with a Youtube tutorial (Dapp University has some great beginner videos) and follow it all the way to completion. Even if you don’t understand everything, the feeling of completing a project will spark the developer’s fire in you.
