First things first, can you introduce yourself? Please tell us more about your background, how you got interested in blockchain, DeFi and NFT and what you are currently working on?
Wow... It’s so difficult to sum up a working life. We can say that I’m an entrepreneur, very curious.
I started to be interested in metaverses 5 years ago when I used to manage an interior design company. I wanted to create a 3D interior where we could touch and buy all furniture thanks to VR. Many people said it was crazy. And I focused on other projects because things didn’t go as fast as I wanted.
Today is the day ! Now there is NFTs, metaverses and so many exciting projects !
What is the slight moment which changed everything for you?
Every morning drops the seeds of changing everything ! But when I was a child, I was in the family’s garden and I knew I would do things differently that everybody around me. This memory is still deeply alive.
What have been your most important failure and what did you learn from it?
I had a lot...
What I learnt is that you have to do what you think is good for your company so you can blame nobody but you. And as you are a kind person, you will be able to forgive you fast, and start a new project.
If you could change anything from the past, what would you do differently?
I would change EVERTHING just to see if we can orient our fate ! Maybe I would have done longer studies and started to save money earlier to buy a Parisian apartment. But I wouldn’t change the many jobs I have done. I learnt so much from that.
What soft & hard skills have been most helpful in helping you succeed in the NFT?
The best soft skill : Curiosity. The ability to connect several experiences to imagine the future.
Hard skill : I have no competences in dev or any IT. (I’ve done all my websites thanks to WYSIWYG and no code)
How have NFT changed your life?
I remember the early days of the Internet (late 90s). At that time, even if I wanted to explore everything (I had a mySpace account very early on, I explored e-commerce even though I lived in Paris where you can find everything around the corner. ). I didn't understand how this could change our lives forever.
Now with NFTs I can see the exponential potential and the profound revolution to come.
What is a typical day for you? What are your work habits? (Planning, how you work, rules you set for yourself, tools, etc.)
I don’t have a morning routine, I don’t do yoga, nor drinking healthy smoothies to open my chakras. I wake up at 7.AM drink coffee, and open my computer. I can stop working to have a very looooooong time lunch with friends like the French do !
I like to work hard late at night. When everybody is asleep. That’s the best moment to have brilliant ideas. Sometimes I feel like I’m losing time because I read an article, then I look further information on Google, find many other articles... and four hours are gone. But few days later I understand why it will be useful... so, I am happy to lose my time like that !
Today things are going so fast, that I do things as fast as they come. And keep the evening to think further.
What are the best resources (media, blog, influencer, podcast, nl…) you follow to be always up to date on your niche?
This summer I used to listen to a lot of rooms in ClubHouse.
There are few resources in French, but I’m very fan of NFT Morning (John Karp & Remy Peretz) I try to listen to a lot of podcasts about a lot of topics. It opens your mind.
Twice a month,
the best stories straight into your inbox
What is your favorite NFT Project?
I’m like a child in X-mas morning. There is sooooooo many exciting projects.
Choosing only one is so difficult... Maybe the Ternoa project because it’s an open blockchain and it allows decentralized storage of your data. Everybody is concerned with identity datas.
Among the people you’ve interacted with in NFT, who do you admire most and why?
I don’t admire people... I admire what they do. I admire all the people I meet when they teach me something new. I don’t like people repeating always the same things. I like when they disrupt my brain. The people I admire, I’m very faithful to them. I consider them as longtime partners.
What is your vision for your niche? What do you expect to come in the next few years? What developments in the field do you find to be the most exciting?
Every company needs to understand what is blockchain, NFTs and Metaverses so they can imagine what will be the future of their business. The bakery around the corner doesn’t need (yet) to use a blockchain. But it may give him ideas to reinvent the bakery ecosystem. They need people to help them build the future. Is there anything more exciting than that ?
What problem does your company solve?
I help companies to understand what is blockchain, we create NFT’s strategies for them. And we help blockchains, and metaverses to find the right way to communicate.
Tell me the vision for NFT Madam?
My vision is: the more we talk about NFTs and Metaverses and the crazier and more exciting projects will come.
What’s the most important or impactul marketing strategy you created? What made it so important or impactful?
The most impactful marketing strategy was to write my book : Les NFTs (enfin) expliqués. (in french) Because I explained with everyday words, and examples how it works. I want the NFTs to become mainstream.
What is different working as a Marketing strategist for a NFT project?
It’s not that different. I only have to explain that the most important is to know why we’re doing it. We have to imagine what the project will be tomorrow, in one year and in five years. It helps to make the right choices now. For example, I want them to think now how they can integrate the metaverses, even if it’s not the point today.
For the readers who want to become better marketers in NFT, what would be your best advice?
My best advice is to be true with the client.
If you feel that the project is weak, tell them.
If you don’t believe in the project, tell them.
If you believe that the project is going to change the world : go ahead ! Don’t ask permission. DO it !
