The Role

We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join our team in Berlin.

In this role the Finance Assistant will be required to build a good understanding of our accounts payable and accounts receivable process, and will take on responsibility for preparing accurate and timely financial reports. The role involves problem-solving and creative thinking while aiming to achieve continuous improvement of accounting processes.

You'll be responsible for

• Take ownership of our accounts payable process
• Be involved with inter-company billing, funding and reconciliations
• Assist our team in our day-to-day business, including:
  - maintaining company accounting and tax policies,
  - make travel arrangements
  - organize internal events/meetings
  - manage office orders/requests
  - manage the company's equipment/swag inventory
  - manage the company's annual calendar
• Assist with the preparation of annual Financial Statements
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting

Who You are

• You have experience as a Financial Assistance, Office Manager or in an administrative role
• You have a vocational certificate in Accounting or Finance or similar certificate
• You have excellent MS Excel skills
• You have excellent organizational and management skills with an ability to think proactively and
  prioritize tasks
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• You have strong interpersonal skills
• You have an excellent command of English
• Is a plus: fluency in German
