Near foundation is looking for a Front end software engineer to join the Dev Labs team.
The frontend software engineer at Dev Labs works in a small cross-functional team within the NEAR Foundation to ship Foundation or NEAR ecosystem critical software projects. The nature of the projects can vary from serving demands of internal teams at the NEAR Foundation (such as Finance / Marketing), helping external parties successfully deliver NEAR Integrations, or ship open-source tools (middleware / decentralized applications) to benefit the great NEAR ecosystem.
You will
Build frontend for a full-stack product
Collaborate with internal and external engineers and community members
Participate in the on-call rotation together with other engineers
You have
The ability to deliver web and mobile applications end to end
The ability to solve all sorts of frontend engineering tasks
Fluency in Typescript/Javascript and web standards
Understanding of React (Next.js) practices (such as state management solutions, server-side rendering)
Fluency in React, Vue, Svelte, or Elm libraries
Experience with design systems and components
2+ years experience building production applications, libraries, APIs
Experience and interest in building and documenting tools
We'd Love If You Have:
Open source contributions and previous or continued involvement in open source communities
Familiarity with Web3 development and related technologies (web3.js, ethers.js, etc)
Familiarity with other crypto or blockchain technologies
Experience working at a startup
Experience with managing applications on cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc)
Strong communication and remote friendly working skills
